Dr. Brain Darden

Hi, my name is Brian.  I'm a licensed realtor and Notary Public.    I'm married to a wonderful lady named Adeola, who is a doctor from Nigeria.  We are parents of adopted twins, who finished high school this year, and are both now in college.  I retired with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant after 26 years in the Air Force National Guard.  I trained for many years in the martial arts of taekwondo and jiu-jitsu, and I was the head training instructor at my dojo.  Our family has attended Trinity Church in Cedar Hill Texas, and has volunteered in different capacities throughout the years. My brother Ted (who is a pastor) told me about IIFBC about 5 years ago, because I was interested in learning about how to deal with different behavior issues my kids were having.  So I began taking their courses and after a year or two, I decided to go all of the way, and get a PhD.    I hope to bring to my counseling sessions the same discipline, focus, and commitment that allowed me to be successful in the military and in the martial arts.  I have much to learn, but I believe that the Lord is opening this venture as an opportunity to serve people who may be hurting and need help.  I plan to be a useful servant to the broken, and the hurting as our beloved savior Jesus was. Lastly I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, traveling, looking at real estate, and studying the word of God.
