Online Christian Counseling with Dr. James Robert Gault - Compassion Christian Counseling

My name is James Robert Gault, I am 49 years old. I am a counselor here at IIFBC. I have counseled in many settings such as church, Zoom, online platforms and in Celebrate Recovery Ministry.

My goal is to bring you to a place of peace with your struggle through the Holy Spirit. I believe the only one that can fix a person is God. I’m just His vessel. I can help with anxiety, reducing stress, offering coping skills, learning about forgiveness and more.

Education:

I have been a certified biblical counselor for the past 8 years and earned a doctorate degree of Philosophy in Christian Counseling at IIFBC. I have been an ordained minister for the past 8 years.

Experience:

I have over 15 years of experience in mental health issues. I also have experience in many different areas of life issues including, addiction, PTSD, trauma, recovery, suicidal thoughts, grief, spiritual issues, conflict resolution, and much more.

Personal Testimony:

On December 28, 2013 God changed my life. I fell from a 13 foot roof and hit my head on concrete. I suffered an epidural hematoma which left me in a coma for 2 weeks. During this time I was personally delivered from oppression, depression and suicidal thoughts. Doctors told my wife that I was not expected to recover from this traumatic brain injury and if I did survive it I probably would not be able to speak, walk or feed myself. Years later I am completely healed other than some facial nerve damage. God took what was meant to kill me and used it to change my life and the lives around me. I fully believe in the miracle working power of Christ for all His people.
