Cynthia DeBerry Biographical Sketch

Cynthia Murray DeBerry, BASW, is an ordained minister, certified Christian clinical counselor through the International Institute of Faith-Based Counseling (IIFBC), and a graduate of Ohio Dominican University with a Bachelor of Arts in social work. She has also studied at Ashland Theological Seminary, Wilberforce University, Young Preachers Institute, and Columbus State College, earning added degrees and certifications to further her education and ministry adeptness.

Cynthia accepted Christ as her Savior as a teenager at First Church of God in Columbus, Ohio, a pivotal moment that shaped her life and calling to gospel ministry. She served as both Assistant and Senior Pastor, ministering to diverse communities and addressing the needs of children, women, and families through her compassionate leadership and guidance.

Her professional career spans roles in public schools, government, nonprofit organizations, and corporate settings, where she taught, trained, and counseled people from various backgrounds. Through these roles, she empowers individuals to thrive personally, spiritually, and professionally, helping them discover their God-given abilities.

Cynthia co-founded The CITE Center specializing in developing leaders and individuals to fulfill their greatest potential. She also founded Kingdom Congress Global Network, Daughters of Grace, and The Freedom Clinic Inner Healing Ministry. All focused on equipping individuals for Kingdom service and providing help for those in need.

As a speaker, missionary, coach and mentor, Cynthia uses her local and global platform to inspire individuals to grow and change. She co-authored, “Keep Yourself Alive, a violence prevention curriculum for troubled youth and “Through it All, God was There” a compilation devotional. She is excitedly completing her first solo work on the Transformational Power of of Transition.

Cynthia willingly shares her testimony of God’s restorative love and power in her own journey, extending grace and hope to those broken by life’s challenges.
