Happily, there's a nice workaround for having an intro price that varies from the regular, recurring price.
The trick is a 1-2-3 combo:
- Have the Engagement be set in motion by the purchase of an Offering.
- Have the Invoicing Plan of the Engagement specify a recurring invoice of the regular, recurring price, BUT with "First Invoice Timing:" with a delay of 1 month:
- Set the price of the Offering to whatever should be the introductory, first-month price.
By doing this, your clients will be charged the intro pricing when they first purchase the Offering.
That, in turn, will set in motion the Engagement immediately, and will thus bill them for subsequent months at whatever regular, recurring price you set in the Engagement Template's Invoicing Plan.
